Why We Created The Foundation
When our parents passed away, they left behind some financial inheritance in our names. We decided to utilise those funds to promote the values they most cherished and embodied. They were strong proponents of academic excellence for both men and women, and also advocated for women empowerment and gender equality.
Lalita and Ravindra Nath (LRN) Foundation was created in 2012 to promote education not just for the needy but to also provide global opportunities to the brightest of young scientists and engineers in India. Support for women empowerment has also been a thrust of this foundation.
